I would not do this, one you would not have a balanced pack, second the 12V will not last as long as the others (6v) batts and something is bound to give.

Do the 48v changeover,anything less is just going have you spending the same money alittle at a time,and seeing little or no improvement with each change.The changeover will produce 30% more of both,Scotty B has the kits for all and at reasonable prices,he also has the guidiance.Doing a little here and there is disappointing.My 2 cents Dave
