my charger blows the fuse as soon as I connect it to batteries , Not even plugged in to 120v , the resistors tested good before, now they show continuity in either direction , so I am going to order new ones ... trying to get one of these used chargers working

Yep, pretty good chance you have bad diode rectifiers (not resistors) You are on the right track. - RAY
