Verifing Pot with 2001 DS

Hi folks, I stumbled on this site just yesterday and I'm glad I did. From the stickies I was able to identify 80% of what I need to know. I picked up this 2001 DS 48v version with some parts missing - computer (probably the first thing to usually disappear) and what I believe to be the VGlide potentiometer.

I believe it to be the VGlide since there was a shaft sitting in the glove compartment area. Please see pics.

Crap, I can't post pictures on account I'm a new user so I'll try to describe it. The shaft is about 10 inches long and a half inch thick. One end is star-like, having seven nibs; the other end is somewhat squarish and has two quarter inch shafts that are about one inch long and spaced about an inch apart.

Can someone please confirm if this shaft is what connects the pedal to the pot?

Never mind, I just figured it out. Seems to be an MCOR system as I just checked the accelerator.

Okay, looking at the hack job on the controller wiring, this unit might have been rewired to bypass the computer. Does anyone happen to have a schematic on the bypass by chance?
