Re: Speed Issues - 2001 Club Car 48 Volt
This diagram should match your cart:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/attac..._with_mcor.jpg The Throttle signal on controller Pin #3 (Yellow Wire), tells the controller how much power to send to the motor. 0v = 0%The problem is most likely the microswitch #3 not allowing 5v to the MCOR.
Measure the Voltage from the Yellow Wire to Controller B- From Pedal Up to Pedal Down it should go from 0v to 5v approximately. If not close to 5v at pedal down, the controller will not allow 100% power. If the voltage is only about 3v at pedal down, the problem is likely that microswitch #3 at the FNR. Don't run the Motor with the wheels off the ground. |

Re: Speed Issues - 2001 Club Car 48 Volt
just some feedback for everyone. It was the micro switch 3. the switch wasn't bad just simply a screw with a nut that someone had put there for whatever reason. When I got the cart I did have to rewire the switch and many other things but simply didn't see the screw. That screw was simply causing the switch to turn on either in forward or reverse and I was only getting half the power to the motor. Thanks again.
