Still squeaking at start up
So, I changed out my starter generator cause the bearing were shot. Tightened up the new starter gen, used a pry bar to get the belt on there as tight as I could and it seems the belt is tight like a tiger. Anyways, I used a new belt, and Its binding up or something and still squeaking on like every cold start, not nearly as bad as before I changed the starter/belt and tightened it though.
Any ideas what this one could be? I thought it could be that the engine was to hard to turn so I adjusted valves but that didn't seem to help much. Only other thing I see is the pulley on the engine side has just a small amount of rust, but I cleaned it up ok. |
