Default Question about Club Car axles

The last golf cart I had was an Ez-Go electric and we had a horrible issues with rear axles stripping and we were told it was just something to live with since it was a bad design or something. How well built are the rear-ends on the Gas powered Club carts?

Is there anything else I should look for in a club car? looking to buy something around 2008-2014

The CC does not have a weak hub issue. It has a nice lightweight aluminum frame which after yrs of service tends to stress crack in a couple of places.

PS
It's a shame nobody told you about the Ausco Hub replacement for Ezgo. These hubs are hard as nails, you buy one with the drum for the cost of a OEM drum/hub and you are fixed for life. See the hubs here> http://www.cartsunlimited.net/ausco-...ezgo-hubs.html

Axles on a club car are bullet proof never an issue. Frames last forever, never an issue there either.

Ezgo axles are good too, you just needed to talk to somebody that knew how to fix them. Its not a bad design, but bad mechanics.
