2001 Generator
Does the generator charge battery through the white wire or through the yellow going to the regulator/rectifier?

If this is a pedal start cart the battery charges through the wire connected through the solenoid.

Yes, this a petal start and large white wire goes from the solenoid to the F2 terminal on the starter/generator. How does the yellow wire on the regulator, regulate the voltage going to the battery? I know the DF terminal can be grounded to check charging output, so does the yellow wire ground the DF terminal to get it charge?
