Don't you want the relay on the battery side of the voltage reducer?

I have the voltage reducer ran through a switch that was already in the dash, and was running my headlights and taillights. I was a bit concerned about the switch handling the 48v or someone leaving it on, seeing how it doesn't light up. I now want to run a small amp and a horn along with lights. So im putting a small fuse block and adding the relay hoping to utilize the key switch and hopefully cut all power so there's no drain. My other concern l have now is something else ive read on this site, it was something about using a diode or a resistor. I can't seem to find the thread. Do you have one installed? Or know why I would need it? |
