Default Help with new solenoid install

So, I'm starting to order parts to replace all those that were clearly underwater or severely rusted in this flood cart that I bought (2008 Precedent Champion Electric).

I'm going to be going with the Navitas AC setup. That will replace the controller and motor. I now need a solenoid and just bought this one. Question is, do I still need a resistor and/or diode for it? Looks like it may be built-in and hoping someone has run across this scenario before.

Also, I'll be converting to 72V before the end of the year and am wondering if I'll need to swap the solenoid at that time or if this one will still work.

Thanks for any help.

You bought which one? What does your setup call for?

The link was embedded in my original post but I broke it out here. My original solenoid is SU60-2122P 48V.

I'm thinking that I do not need the resistor/diode based on what I read here: https://golfcartsmodified.com/produc...-400a-solenoid

You should always have a diode across the Solenoid coil for Golf Cart applications.

The pre-charge resistor across the Solenoid contacts is dependent on the controller model used, You need to check with Navitas on the specific model you are getting.
