Changing Throttle Input: Curtis Controller
Hi all, I fried the controller on my 95 ezgo 36v cart. I have purchased a 1205 Curtis controller. The only programming options I could select when ordering the controller was whether I wanted 36v or 48v, and 0-5k;0-5v 5-0k throttle.
My cart has the ITS system which is one of the programmable throttle systems available on this controller. I need to reprogram the throttle input to ITS as it is now set at 0-5V. Also I would like to be able to reprogram it to 48V when this lot of batteries die. I have the PC programming software but cannot find a cable to buy or instructions on making a cable. Any help with my problem would be greatly appreciated. P.S. As this controller is set to 0-5V throttle, is there a way I can disconnect the ITS and set up something else, maybe a potentiometer or something to test the function of the controller, to ensure that it would work when I get the throttle input reprogrammed. |
