Default Predator 212 on stock clutch?

Working on putting a cart together.
Got a 2000 turf 2/carryall for cheap because of a hole in stock engine

Got an adapter to fit the clutch on predator shaft, just waiting on a bolt.

How will the stock clutch work with a predator 212?

PS: this is just a cart to get me around the property because I'll be taking (more) chemo in the next few months. Speed and hills are non of my concern(right now )

I've had success with stock a clutch even with 420 Predators. If I remember right the 212 is rated 6 or 6.5 hp, so stock clutch may react a bit slowly, but doesn't sound like high performance is your goal right now.

Didn’t know they made an adapter for that little 212 engine for a 10 tapered shaft. Guess they do.

The 212 will probably move that cart around just fine. I put one in a blown up ezgo marathon a couple summers ago for the kids. Surprised how well that thing went

The 212 adapter I seen adapted the 3/4" shaft to 1" like for a comet 780. New to me also.
