Default workhorse front driver side leaf spring

It's a 97 Workhorse. Do you think that, overtime (14 years), the front leaf spring has weakened to the point that, despite installing a brand new front shocks, my left side (driver) is almost 2 inches lower than my right? In which case, I would have it replaced. Any thoughts otherwise like lengthening the shocks bracket or using a longer shock absorber on the driver side?

I would for sure say the leaf is worn out. especially on the driver side as that one usually gets the most use. I would replace spring and should be good to go. Good luck!

It is the spring that holds the body & frame up off of the axles. This is no small job when you add batteries and driver. Replace springs in pairs for best results.

Have you done anything to the rear suspension? the rear springs are likely also worn.

Re the rear ones, no. But probably, the same side is weak as the rear driver side is lower by half an inch. I have a spare 94 Electric just for parts. I will check if the front springs can be "borrowed". Thanks.

Workhorses have heavy duty springs front and back.

My brother replaced both front and rear leafs on his workhorse and it still leans to the drivers side

Did your brother replace also the shock absorber? I still have to work on it this week-end. If it would still lean on the driver's side, a shock absorber hanger extension probably will help. Thanks for the info.
