Armature removal
Could someone please tell me how you can remove the armature off of a 1979 EZGO 2 cycle engine.thanks

Im suppose we are talking about the starter generator? If so, here is your answer: 1) Remove the 2 long bolts that hold the housing ends. 2) Once removed, slowly tap out the end where the brush holder is. 3) You are done
If you want to totally replace the armature, remove the pulley. That is a bit tricky and you must have a bench vise big enough. There is also a woodruff key that keeps the pulley from slipping. |
