Default pressing bearings onto crankshaft

For those of you who've pressed your bearings onto the crankshaft before installing it into the two motor halves... I'm getting ready to do this and was wondering how you knew how far they needed to go on the crankshaft? I didn't measure the old ones before I knocked them off the old crankshaft.

All the way buddy, just like this.

Two on the clutch side. I took mine to a local shop who did the job in 60 seconds and charged my $5 for cash

Thank Dave for the clarification. I didn't realize they went all the way and didn't pay attention when I took the motor apart. That was my first mistake. My local machine shop said they'd do it for $10. Sounds like a deal to me.
