Default Hitch help on st480 with rear seat conversion

Ok this cart has been converted to have rear seats and a hitch added to the rear step, I need to add some support for the hitch. I plan on adding a tube between the added hitch and stock hitch but what do I need to do to add some support to keep from bending my step and seat brackets when weight gets on it. Only thing I have seen as a possibility is adding support up to the bed tilt points. Any ideas are welcome.

that would get in the way of the rear riders feet wouldn't it? Can you get some pictures from underneath for us to help come up with a solution?

Check mine out in the last pages of the link in my sig. It's pleanty stout enough for anything the cart will pull. Good luck with yours.

I could see why it might sag under weight. I would extend the hitch reciever back to the bracket bolted to the bottom of the frame.

Why not connect the 2 hitches together?

My first thought would be a draw bar and drill another set of holes for a second pin in the rear part of the seat mounted hitch that way it's easily removed if the seat has to come off.

I am definitely connecting them, I would like to add more support because of it sticking so far out.
