Steering floats....
I have a 2004 EZGO TXT 2+2 with 6" Jake's Spindle Lift Kit and 12x7 Alltrail 23x10.50-12... Also installed Big block (B&S 18HP).
Recently the cart's steering has begun floating.. It is close to impossible to drive on a straight line at high speeds (>20MPH).. It is actually dangerous.. The steering of the cart floats all around. I already adjusted the toe in. It helped a bit but not much. I have also noticed that one of the wheels has a barely noticeable play (might be the bushings of the spindle kit?).. Are these replaceable? This might also help. BTW, the spindle kit was installed a couple of years ago, along with the big block engine, so this issue should not be the result of a recent mod/fix. Thanks a lot for your input. |
