Default Is this a Jake's lift? Is it installed correctly?

I have found numerous items which were not done or done incorrectly at the cart reapir shop. I have contacted them and will be getting all of the items fixed at no charge. Thanks to a BGW member, I do know that a bracket on the rear lift is installed incorrectly. Is the front lift installed correctly and is this a Jake's lift as I was told? I did not find any makings on the lift to indicate to me that it is a Jake's, but I do not know one from another. Thanks!

In the past, every Jakes lift said Jakes on it. Kinda like their trademark. I cannot verify 100% if it is Jakes or not, someone else will need to help.

There ya have it, from the source itself. Doesn't get any better than that.

Since the cart shop told me it would be a Jake's lift...does anyone one know what make this could be and what the price difference between this and a Jake's lift would be. I want him to remove this lift and install a Jake's like he said it would be, but need some numbers to put pressure on him..... So frustrated with all this. What was suppose to be a cool project has turned into a royal pain...

That is NOT a Jakes lift. Spindles Look almost home-made. If they charged you for a Jakes lift I'd **** sure take it back and demand my money back, or get the right lift. Hard to tell from the pic but....doesnt look like any lift I've ever seen.

I've seen one EXACTLY like this... I had to replace one of those lovely spindles on my brother in law's DS car last week due to damage in a rollover. I'm not sure of the manufacturer. He called the cart shop who lifted the cart and they ordered him another spindle. I have no idea what brand they are.

The cart repair shop owner said that this was a Jake's Allstar lift and that he had been installing Jake's lifts for years. Again, this is my first experience with lifts and I would not know by just looking, one lift from another. He did fix everthing I asked him to, so I am happy with the results. This weekend she will get a good bath and some paint on her battery trays and a few other touch ups.

He still owes you a true Jake's Lift. When the manufacturer says its not his product, ya gotta believe it. He has no reason to mislead you. Now the dealer on the other hand.......

I hope the Jake's guy on here will confirm it. I don't know enough about these lifts to call someone a liar. At the time telling him "some guy on a website said it wasn't" didn't have enough weight to call him a liar either. The shop owner said he was going to call Jake's and find out what was up. So hopefully one or the other happens. Either way, the cart looks good and is operating great....
