no need to disconnect cables. but it's prudent to keep the tow/run switch on tow

If it's 12 volt just connect across the target battery. If 36 or 48 volt connect across the entire pack

Not completely sure what you mean. I had planned to do one battery at a time....without disconnecting any cables...and the tow switch on.

one battery at a time is fine. A lot of people have accidently dropped wrenches ,tools wires ETC and accidently SMOKED their controller... so it is prudent when walking around in the battery/controller compartment to place the tow/run in "TOW"

how do they say ...an ounce of prevention is worth a POUND of cure

I really appreciate the help. I don't know if my non cart charger with the battery desulfination feature will improve the battery readings but I'm going to try it on my spare boat battery first, and if that works I'll try the trolling battery, etc. The cart batteries will be last. I'll post the results..before and after readings. Thanks again.

the longer you wait the less chance of reviving your batteries.... just go for it....

i imagine you'll need more that 24 hours of desulphanation for each batt.

why don't you buy a 36 or 48 volt desulphanator that you mount directly in the cart. It will work automatically every time you charge. this way you can do the entire "PACK" at once.

and if you can't reclaim ...you will have it for the new Batts.
