95 cc controller repair
hey guys, I'm new the the carting world and have a controller issue. i have a 95 cc with serial A9548-xxxxxx 48v. the batteries are brand new and showing 50.2v across the pack. it has a curtis 1204-410 controller. the cart will not move in either forward or reverse( though the buzzer sounds in reverse). i have tried an OBC reset and bypass and nothing worked. i checked and rechecked the battery cables and all other wires. after reading posts on here, i deduced it was a controller issue. i pulled appart the controller and found a transistor on the logic board was burnt out. does any one know what the values are supposed to be on this? would it be easier to find a replacement logic board? i have attached some pictures of the board and the transistor that is bad. thanks

Re: 95 cc controller repair
I have a Rev C board and the only TO-220 device is a TIP41C. Findchips TIP41C Likely the same for Rev A.
Also, capacitor C10 looks bulged in the first photo... Cheers! -sj |

Re: 95 cc controller repair
A TIP41 is a VERY common NPN transistor. You can get one shipped to you from Digikey for about 75 cents (plus shipping). At that price, I'd give repairing it a shot. I assume you can solder and have the tools, otherwise you would not have even considered it.
