Default Project G29, Set up for off-road

This is my 09 Yamaha G29, was looking for a Side by side, but they are way to expensive, so I figured I could locate a gas golfcart and modify it to make worthy of taking in the woods.

Mods:

Heavy Duty Rear Clutch Spring
6" Jakes Spindle Lift
rear 25x11-10 Sedona Mud Rebels
Front 24X8-12 Sedona Mud Rebels
Light Kit
Winch
New Clutches
Drive Belt
2" Receiver hitch
Cargo Hitch carrier
Mud flaps

Had several Drive train issues that I was not aware of when I bought the cart, didn't know very much about the Clutch system, didn't realize when I purchased that both the primary and secondary clutches would have to be replaced as well as the Drive Belt being completely worn out.

So needless to say I replaced the Secondary Clutch, Primary Clutch, Drive Belt, and overall tune up.

For those of you wondering why your cart will not pull, or it seems to really lack on a low gear, may want to consider adding the heavy duty Spring to the secondary clutch and replacing the Drive belt, I can not believe the amount of torque this thing has now.

Just a OEM Yamaha Drive Belt, picked it up from a local Yamaha golf cart dealer, it was around $47.

Well, I purchased a set of 22x11-10 wheels and tires online, when I got them on the cart and took them out to camp, it didn't take long to realize those all terrain tires were not going to work, So I started looking for atv tires to put on, but the problem was I had wheels already, but I could only find 25" rear tires that would fit 10" wheels, I did not want to put 11" wide mud grips on the front, wanted a narrow tire on front, so the 8" wide tires only came in 12" diameter.

Really considered doing a big block conversion kit, with the Honda V-twin, but it really has all the torque I need now, took my dad to deer camp yesterday after a rain and this thing performed awesome, two 200lb men, this thing pulled going up some very steep grade muddy hills, never spun a tire and never bogged down either.

I would imagine the skinnier 8" tires up front were alot easier to turn when steering. These yahama carts turn super easy and smooth anyways.

The sky is the limit with these, just wish that every dang component for them wasn't $100, it adds up pretty quick.

The 8'' wide front tires turn very easy, and I mean this thing turns on a dime, I can assure you a Rhino would not turn like this thing will.
