It got a little louder, not a lot. Actually it got deeper with a bit of a rumble. Sorry, no pics of inside but once you cut it open it's easy to see what to do. Increasing the tailpipe diameter really helped it breath better with the K&N and re-jetted carb.

I believe it was 3/4 schedule 40 steel pipe.

I don't know about that!

I did get 30 mph out of that setup with stock gears and 22" tires.

Does anyone think a 1" id x 13" tail pipe would be to big?? (i have a piece laying around)

I don't think it would hurt anything at all. Remember to re-jet that carb though as what your about to do could cause the engine to run lean.
