Lower control arms
Hi all new to the site building a g16 and want to know if I take some lower control arms for a g8 that has already had the work done to lower the front of my cart 2 inches will they work on my g16 have g8 rear shocks also thanks

First off, welcome to BGW!
Yes, to answer your question. G8 control arms will work fine! As a matter of a fact, the G8 arms are about an inch longer than the G16's arms, but the shock mounting tabs are at the same location. I just did this on my G16. As far as the shocks go, the G8 rear shocks won't work on the front of the G16 because the bottom of the G8 shock mount is angled. Its only 1 1/2 inches longer than the stock front shocks. You might go on Ebay and find a stiff ATV shock that is roughly 13 inches if your doing a 2" lift on the front. Just make sure its not a weak shock, or the cart will be uncontrollable at high speeds. The yellow control arm is the G16 arm, G8 on the right. |
