Goofy Charger

I have a E-Z Go electric cart 36v. My charger will kick just for a second then kick back off. I may walk by it later and the charger will be running and sometimes it will not charge at all. Is the charger going bad?

it cold be 2 things the plug ot the timer board moe likely the timer board what kind of charger and cart do you have so we can determind what may be going on
