Default Info on accelerator linkage rods

Hi
I am new to golf buggies, I'm from Queensland Australia and this is a fantastic site, I spend hours reading threads. My buggy is a 2002 36v electric EZGO, F + R switch in dash (DCS I think), I have refabricated the whole chasis and painted my buggy a nice aero descent green, if I knew how to add pics I would, I only want to play golf with mine but luv seeing what others do with theirs. I've been looking for a wiring diagram for this model, seen lots a wiring systems similiar. But this time I have a query re: there are linkage rods from the accelerator to the sub frame of the brake pedal, the first linkage rod connects to another rod that goes through the brake pedal sub frame and has a brass block that is locked onto this rod by 2 small locking bolts. 2 questions, 1. is this only a counter weight for ease on the accel pedal or some other reason? 2. is there a specific setting where this should be?

Colin, Welcome to BGW!

Your cart is a PDS cart. The linkage you refer to is intended to release the hill brake with application of the accelerator pedal.

Enjoy the Autumn weather, G'day!

Thanks for that, I should be able to work out the position setting from that, yes I was getting DCS & PDS mixed, I just read another thread which also set me straight on that, also prior to painting the body I remember now I took off a sticker that had written on it 'Precision Drive System'.
