Alltrax is a good choice for aftermarket upgrade and a bit more economical than the Curtis replacement. There are others as well.
Personally, I like the AXE model of Alltrax because they are user programmable.

Lots of places to search/shop including sponsors here.

I have a call in to the local electric motor shop, to see whats available to them. Apparently this controller is used in forklifts and mining equipment too, so hopefully they have something reasonable. If not, I'll look at the alltrax one. Is rebuilt worth it, or will I be changing it out again soon?

Mixed opinions on rebuilds. My concern w/b warranty. How long? IMO, rebuilds s/b half price of new and come with at least a 6 month warranty. That's just me tho' and probably why I don't use reman's.

Thanks dock98,

Was looking on the Alltrax site and don't see a controller with 4 lugs like mine. Theirs have 3 and in the user manual, it says to connect the A2 wires together, insulate them, and tie them back out of the way. What exactly does this terminal do and is it needed? Thanks
