I give up - how on earth do you remove the body?
I've looked but can't find anything here, just lots of comments on it being time consuming but worth it.
I need to start with the front to install lights, but I need to know how to get the whole thing apart later to paint it. Is there a manual on this, or a how-to posted anywhere? Looks like I have to start by drilling out the rivets holding the dash and edge trim to the front panel? Can't see where I'd go from there, though.. Thx! ..a |

In the EZGO Technician's Repair and Service Manual, section C spells out everything you have to do to remove the body.
Our generous sponsor East Coast Custom Carts has this posted on his website: http://www.eastcoastcustomcartsinc.com/Manuals.aspx IMHO paint the cart with the body on, it reduces the damage/scratches resulting from reassembly. |

I'm not sure if gas and electric are the same, but check out this post.

Re: I give up - how on earth do you remove the body?
Thanks guys!! That helps a lot!
This cart was dunked in a pond or something ("garage kept, never off-road" was how it was advertised!!) so I would like to pull the body to see exactly what's underneath anyway, and it will making painting a lot simpler. It will also make installing my custom wiring harness (starting with lights but adding more accessories later) simpler.. ..a |

The accessory wiring harness comes with the factory light kit you can order from one of the sponsors here. The light bar does not require the removal of the body to install.
