Re: Power Meter
I like my $20. analog meter. It's very reliable. I wish I could find a matching 12v analog to monitor the accessory batteries.

Re: Power Meter
The state of meter is the same one I have. I saw the matching 12V meter somewhere but I can't remember where. I'm loosing my mind. I think it was Ebay. If anyone knows of a company that has the match please let me know.

Thanks for the link DR. I'll check into it. I know I saw one while surfing and can't remember where. I'll have to check the sponsors tonight.

Re: Power Meter
Most battery manufacturers recommend that you deplete your battery pack to no more then 50% to get the most from them, even though they can be depleted down to as low as 20%. 50% of a 48 volt pack is 48.41 volts and 50% of a 36 volt pack is 36.31 volts. With a Digital gauge you will be able to know EXACTLY when that is. With all other gauges it's a guess. When you test your batteries most use a digital voltmeter as well as a hydrometer. I also have an LED gauge on my dash that I bought first. Real nice with green, yellow and red LED's that come on to tell you the battery pack state. It's nice looking but really useless. Just think that if you had your actual Digital Voltage Meter mounted on your dash while driving to see what's happening... that's what you DO have with a Digital Meter for $20.
