Post Steering box

Does anyone make a rebuild kit for steering boxes? Mine has a lot of play in it.

EZ GO sells the parts you'll need. Since different parts wear out there is no "kit".
Different years use different systems. Pre '01.5 is mounted under the dash. Newer are mounted on the axle. What year/ model do you have?

Those steering housings crack fairly easy. Be sure all the tie rods are tight, and inspect the housing. Pull the rubber boot back and check the shaft and the bearing or seal. Its a steel ring with teflon inside. See if it may have popped out. There are three bolts that mount the housing to the axle. Be sure they are tight and the housing is not busted.
Next, inspect the intermediate shaft. That's the shaft from the steering column to the steering gear box. Turn the wheel back and forth and be sure the play is not at this point. You may need heelp for that.
If none of these things are defective we'll need to rebuild the steering gear. There should be a diagram here somewhere...I've done several.
