EZGO won't move
Hope someone can help me. I have replaced my batteries, new conroller and a new solinoid and my cart still will not work. Its a 2001 EZGO 36 volt, It is trying to move but won't. The reverse button does make the back up noise. I have heard that it could be the reverse switch. I would assume that is the switch on the dash. All replys would be appreciated.
Thanks, Will |

Re: EZGO won't move
If you have a toggle switch on the dash you have a PDS drive system.... Did the cart run before? Does the solenoid Click when you turn the key on, put it in gear, and step on the gas?

Re: EZGO won't move
Yes the cart did run. I put new batteries in but crossed wires. The Solinoid doe click when I step on the gas. Also there is full 36 Volt power from all six batteries.
Check the run tow switch if its of or not working. it is in run possition. I will look into the reed switch. Thanks all |

Re: EZGO won't move
A wiring diagram and a voltmeter are gonna be your best bet here. Use the diagram to see where all the wires you touched are suppost to go compared to where they are going! The solution lies there someplace..... The diagrams are in the stickies at the top of this section any PDS diagram will do

Re: EZGO won't move
I have heard of one toggle that went bad. But your cart won't go in either direction? Are you sure you got the correct controller?
