Ez go marathon surging
I have a 1993 Marathon. It was surging when i pushed the pedal. Someone told me it was the solenoid that was bad so i changed it. I accidentally replaced it with the wrong model. I drove the cart around my shed and it stopped working completely. I put the other solenoid back on and it still will not do anything. No click,no nothing. I have tried troubleshooting to no avail. So far I have come down to the solenoid, the potentiometer, and or the microswitches. Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated.

Hope you didn't let the magic smoke out of the controller. IMO, sounds like a throttle issue. Check the pot resistance values. S/B smooth rise from 0-5k.
