Do you know if "turbo mode" is on in the programming of your controller? I have experimented with my Alltrax DCS 400 PDS in my 2001 cart with turbo mode on and off, my mototr gets really hot when in turbo mode. How long have you had this controller installed?

I dont know if the turbo is on. And controller was on the cart when i bought it but the motor was replaced in july 09 with a new stock replacement. the work was done at metro carts in ft.worth i bought the cart in jan.10 I was thinking of replacing motor and controller with a upgraded motor from D&D but the controller seems to be good are there any ways to check it other than the basic voltage check? thanks for any advice

Go to the Alltrax website http://www.alltraxinc.com and then go to the document depot and look around for DCX documents, this should aid you in your troubleshooting. Let me know what you find out
