Default 93 txt marathon curtis controller loose terminal causing low power?

i had been running my '93 36V marathon txt for a month or so, and it would cut out every once in a while. I have 3 new 12V deep cycle batts and new batt cables. The other large cables look to be origional but are in ok shape. the batt cable connections are good. I have checked the 0-5k pot and it checks good with a meter. I think the blue wire that goes from the micro switch on top of the accel linkage to the controller had a bad crimp. So i replaced the wire. I was riding the cart with no seat and jiggling the wire, the cart surges to full power then cuts out. It will barely pull itself. I have replaced wires and made sure I have good connections. When i wiggle blue wire that goes into the controller it seems i can get it to cut in and out of full power. could this terminal be loose inside the controller?
