How come I can't find anyone with 7 batteries
Am I not searching correctly or is not a good idea. I wanted to run my cart with 7 6 volt batteries. My neighbor has been running his this way for about 7 months and it makes a huge difference. I have a 96 EZ GO with an Alltrax 400 amp controller. Can it be done? How would you charge it? Thanks

Re: How come I can't find anyone with 7 batteries
I have a 42v cart and you charge it with a 42v charger.
The next best way to charge it would be to use your existing 36v charger and a 6v charger, a PITA it can be done but may leave the pack out of balance a little. Also make sure your controller will handle 48v and you should also short wire the solenoid and SOC meter, if you have one, to 36v in the pack. In the end, I would skip the 42v choice and go right to 48v. |
