G29 to G22 controller swap?

I have a G22 2006 Yamaha electric and I'm pretty sure the controller went out where it doesn't have anti rollaway anymore even in the run position no solenoid click. I checked key switch, pedal switch and everything I can think of but have no voltage to solenoid on the little posts with pedal depressed. I have a spare controller off of a 2013 G29 that has the identical body to it. Is it possible to install the G29 controller on a G22? I'd like to find out a definitive answer before I try it and blow up the controller.

I've had a G29 with a G22 (GE) controller. Your 2013 should be a Moric controller ( flat / square ). If both of your controllers looks the same, why not?

The G22 Moric has 3 rows of pins on the connector.

The G29 Moric has two rows of pins.

I did see an adapter here which I thought was a great idea but I don't know where it came from.

Yes, the GE controller had an adapter from 2 rows to 3 rows...

Thank you very much yes the controllers are identical but they didn't even take notice to the fact that one had two rows of pins and the other one has three rows. Guess I'll try to find that adapter harness somewhere online.
