DRIVE2 AC Adventurer 2+2 too rough.
I've converted my 2018 Dive2 AC 2+2 and like many others on here have reported, its entirely too rough without the weight. This particular cart was overly rough with Lead Acid batteries, but its absolutely unbearable now. I know its common on these to go with the older Drive gasoline rear shocks. Does anyone have a recommended adjustable shock to use for this application? I primarily use this particular cart just for golf, but occasionally use it for hauling kids to the pool at the club etc.
Can anyone confirm if the eye to eye measurement is 330mm or 340mm? Any ideas on a particular adjustable coilover shock? It doesn't have to be a gas unit. I've found these JEGS adjustable shocks, which I'm sure would be the perfect solution, but I don't want to spend $500 just on shocks if there is a more cost effective solution. I've considered the import motorcycle shocks off of Amazon, but am wondering if others have had much success with those. I tried to send cgtech and PingEye3 a private message, but either that functionality isn't currently active, or I've got the wrong type of account to be able to send them. cgtech and PingEye3 seem to be the experts in this area, and hopefully they'll chime in. |

Thanks to PingEye3, I have gas cart shocks in both of my Yamaha Drive Lithium carts. Made a big difference. It would be nice to find adjustable shocks that fit but I don't know where to look. The gas cart shocks are available though.

Just took off the back bench and measured. The shocks are 13” eye to eye, bushings have roughly a 3/8” hole, and spring diameter is 1/2”.
