Assuming there was no spark when it would not start, which I believe is a pretty safe assumption, yes. Call David for an oem coil or take it to a club car dealer and make sure you tell them you want an oem kawasaki coil and not an aftermarket nivel or redhawk or whatever other brand.

So, last week I got my cart back. They replaced the coil, replaced the Rev Limiter (at no cost to me). He said "I want to make sure this cart doesn't come back". He also credited me one hour of labor for all the back and forth, and since the first time they had it they didn't fix the original complaint (not starting when hot).

I played 18 holes yesterday, and it didn't die. This is good.

Bad news (slightly bad) when it was running, it kind of putt-putted all day, and when I stopped, it gave a little fart almost every time.

I really don't want to send it back to the shop...any ideas? Carb adjustment?
