I was about to say the same thing. Thanks Johnny for saving me some time.

I live very close to Pittsburgh Pa. Where the Allegheny river and the Monongahela river come together to form the Ohio river. It's some of the purest water on the face of the earth...if you ignore the industrial pollution, acid mine drainage, illegal dumping, and other toxic matter that floats by on occasion.

So, if I get desperate, I may cut off a piece of that river water and torch-melt some of it in a weak battery. That "stuff" has been know to re-gen a battery for up to ten years.

Rain water from a severe thunderstorm seems to help rejuvenate batteries too.

$8 SHIPPED (EBAY) for a Mighty Max Battery Servicing Bottle. It's lead acid resistant, auto shutoff, at least 16oz, ergonomic handle and pour. Distilled water from the local grocery store; .99 cent per gallon. Better than making a mess

The one I use is made by "Plews", but is essentially the same item.

Keep the nose-piece vertical (which can be tricky for a couple of the cells), or it will overfill.
