Re: 2000 36v TXT Series- Speed and Torgue Upgrade
You forgot a 48V battery pack and Super-Duty solenoid.
Also, a reversing contactor is better than a HD F/R switch. |

That's pretty much what it boils down to, either its a stock golf-mobile, or a "never quite done" frankenstein, with (possibly) a lot of cash in it.

Hauling 4 people long distances is putting a strain on all those remaining stock parts.Might as well pull the trigger now and get it all done the right way to start with.

Re: 2000 36v TXT Series- Speed and Torgue Upgrade
Good luck! As the others said it may never end. I just switch to a 48v from a 36v TXT. Upgraded all the items they spoke of. Went from 12 mph to 18 mph.
Tomorrow I'm installing a new 2 speed motor. It dooesn't end |

A 48V battery pack A 48V battery charger A controller that will operate at 48V A solenoid that will operate at 48V You may also need to upgrade the 13 or 14 high current cables to 4Ga or thicker and replace the stock F/R switch with a Heavy-Duty one or a reversing contactor. |
