The key is how the other cables are run. sound like the two diagrams are swapping the connections of C and A. On both, M- should be going to A2. Both will probably work.

If you just swap A and C, leaving B and D(they should run to S1 and S2) alone this change will swap the reverse and forward on the F/R switch, or if you just swapped B and D then the reverse forward switch would swap also.

Bottom line follow one of them for all connections A, B, C, D, M- and B+

Scotty, I am finally healed up from my surgery...called Alltrax and they talked me through everything. I was missing a ground wire from small post on solenoid to controller. That got everything going. Still have a problem with battery wires getting extremely hot. When I bought the cart, there were no locking washers on terminal..one came loose, arced and melted the battery terminal. I have a put in locking washers and all wires are tight. But I still have an issue with the wires between the batteries getting hot. The wires on the drivers side are ok, but the closer you get to the controller, the wires get to hot to touch after only a few minutes of driving. Once again I bought your 500amp off road package. I still have the stock wires between the batteries. Will upgrading the wires fix this? or is there something else. The battery that arced and melted was replaced.

If your running a 500 amp controller with stock battery cables it's no wonder they're getting hot. Yes! Replace those with at least 4 gauge cables. You really need to change therm all to 4 gauge.

Scotty, a couple of the ears on my batteries have cracked and are now arcing and melting the terminals. MY local cart shops sell bulldog and crown batteries. For off road uses, are either of these better then others. I think another one not to far sells Trojan. Any preferences? The current batteries are from US Batteries

Crown are good batteries - remember size matters. Get 235 amp hour Crown 6v or 190 amp hour 8v
