Default Gas 2 stroke ezgo

Hey everybody! Has anyone ever bored out a 244 to one and had acceptable results? And feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yes - slow process can be done on a Bridgeport but steep learning curve. If I was to do again would chuck the head in the Lathe and use a very ridged bar 1" or so.

I'm not really a expert at that myself, would any machine shop be able to do that?

Not sure of your original question....are you asking if you can go 1 mm oversize? I had my head bored .25mm over and it worked well. Machine shop could've went to .5mm over. Any machine shop should be able to bore, or an atv/dirtbike shop

An FYI though a bore will cost you about 50, a piston and gaskets about 80....if your willing and able to spend another 50-70 you can get the entire kit including cylinder head then it's just a bolt up and go, kinda wish I went that route

I'm just trying to find the right combination to gain hp because I know with a 2 stroke possibilities are endless.
