I'm pretty sure he still wants you to do that test for each battery. Hook each battery up individually to your Dvm and try to run the cart as above. Then post the results you get for each individual battery.

I would be careful while testing. That rotten egg smell likely means you have 1 very bad battery. That battery could reveal itself in a violent way, by blowing its lid off!

Alright, no change in connections or wiring thru this whole process. I just tried the cart and it was moving fwd and rev when one of the batteries blew up. Luckily I had just put the seat cover back on. What would have caused the battery to blow up? Scary

At least we know which one was bad now. Personally I prefer to diagnose using the test I posted earlier.

You think that was scary!? All 6 blew while I was driving! That was loud! I'm glad the seat was already brown colored!
