Whatever you want is "essential" Different for everybody. Put in a good voltage reducer (if electric cart) that is easy to tie into for whatever you, or anybody else wants.

I agree with moon, get a good reducer with key switch wire so the reducer will shut off when the key is off. Just remember, a lot of reducers can't handle too many things tied into it. I once installed a radio and lights on a reliable reducer I use and the radio screen could not stay on very well. It was almost too dim to read

Like the others said, a Good reducer is the trick and you just about run anything you want. I myself have LED headlights, turn signals, brake lights, horn, stereo with a amp, LED light under the cart, but I'm running a 30 amp reducer.

it is about what the cart will be used for as to what 12v stuff you need on it
as for a reducer you need a good 30 amp and a fuse box http://www.cartsunlimited.net/12v-reducer-.html psst moon ....... he/she posted in the electric cart area |

Guess I'm the boring guy here. I only have decent lights and a horn that came with the cart.

I can live with just lights.
That's all the Carryall has. Now the daughter on the other hand.... Lights Horn Stereo USB Ports She "wants" lights under the cart and lighted speakers. I did a 12 volt marine battery in the bagwell in order to handle the accessories. |

Lights under the cart I can understand, if she does a lot of rock crawling or bush riding at night. Lighted speakers??? No clue, heck, didn't know they existed!
