Upgraded Shocks
Has anyone put an upgraded shock system on a Precedent? the OEM ones are pretty garbage. I put a 6' lift but the off road ride is very stiff. I know i can remove oem and measure the travle and see if i can find ones that match. just trying to see if anyone has done before.
thanks |

Here is a good start, and there are several other threads on the subject as well.

Re: Upgraded Shocks
ZLM, not to throw water on your desire as most of us to have a better quality ride in our carts, we have to be realistic. A vehicle that basically has a 5 foot wheelbase designed with a front and rear leaf spring suspension is going to yield a stiff ride no matter how good of a shock you put on it IMHO. Golf carts are designed for cart paths and smooth fairways and the shocks are there for mild dampening. I hope you find a shock system that really changes the ride.
