Default Recommend A Battery Tester

Could someone recommend a battery tester that can be relied upon. When I go and look at carts for sale, something more than a meter to test voltage is needed. My neighbor has one he used in the past on car batteries, but you need cold cranking amp rating to use properly.

It does not work on golf cart batteries...

I don't know specific brands, but get a hand held load tester. Granted, they can't put out a load like the larger floor units do, but it will tell you if the battery has an issue. A quick search online of load testers, and reading the reviews of people that owned the particular one will b your answer of course if you want something more advanced, you can get the digital type that print the results but naturally those cost significantly more. In fact, I believe they make one specific for golf cart use

D V M batteries should red real close to same voltage. If they are clean and not too old with correct voltage, that's about as good as it gets.
