Brake Shoes...Gas GXT804D Truck : 1997
Anyone know of a source or if I can send the cores out to get re shoed?

The GXT's used the same shoes as the Marathon through 96/97, then swapped to the newer TXT-style at the end of the model run ... If Your brake shoes have 3 evenly-spaced round holes in them (one centered) then You would need the earlier 86-97 style shoes, if they have 2 round holes and an oval hole that is slightly offset then You need the 97-up style shoes - either style will run You around $25 for a complete set, probably a lot better plan than screwing around trying to have them redone.
To be safe, post a quick photo of one of the shoes and we can tell You exactly which part You need |
