Default 48 volt upgrade

I have a 94 medalist 36 volt and I was waiting to upgrade to a 48 volt system. I know alltrax makes really nice controllers but are really expensive. Does Curtis make a cheaper model that would work with my cart. I took some pictures of what I have right now.

I seen this on eBay and was wondering if it would work.

It's clearly the "China knockoff", might work, might have to return it twice, might fry 2 days after the "you pay for shipping to China warranty". I wouldn't do it, too many better options.

What kind of controller would you suggest.
