Motor Squeel
2009 ez go pds
A squeel has developed when riding around. It’s there most of the time, but sometimes it will go away on its own while riding around. Stop,for a little while and take off again,it returns. Thinking it was a wheel I have removed both rear wheels greased them. Squeel remains. All I can think it is is the motor. What would cause the electric motor to Squeel. Very annoying! |

Failing controller can cause squeel. But so can a motor bearing.

Hmmm. That’s somewhat disheartening. That controller is only about 4 yrs old. How can I tell which it is?

Disassemble motor, replace armature bearing. If it still squeels, controller time.
