Is there any information anywhere about rebuilding the Drive Clutch on TXT???
Guys,
I have searched everywhere for info on rebuilding the drive clutch on my 06 EZGO TXT. Not only have I found nothing I did not even see any parts for a rebuild. If any of youu guys have any info let me know or please post up. I will be taking my spare apart in the next couple days to see what I am working with. I will take some pictures and post what I find. It amazes me that there is nothing about these anywhere. Thanks Carlo |

I haven’t found a ton of info on this either, but I’m looking at my primary clutch needing to be rebuilt if possible, otherwise replaced

it looks like it might need and what I can find for it. I already bought the removal tool and removed it from my spare engine. Carlo |

We tried to rebuild one. once. it has a spring inside that ended up unwinding awful fast and parts flew across the room and one embedded itself in the ceiling and we gave up after that

That was probably the driven clutch the drive clutch doesn't have much spring tension on them |

No this was a drive clutch that was stuck closed. I've had the driven ones go sproing! on me too, often the ones on Yamaha G9s

Sounds like I might be better off just buying a new clutch

They are simple his drive clutch was stuck closed if it's not stuck closed there's hardly any spring pressure on it I'd at least pull it apart and inspect it for any thing obvious
