Exclamation 2000 ezgo gas sluggish up hills

I have a 2000 ezgo with a 295 4 stroke completely stock. It moves great on flat land. It is very slow or don’t go up certain hills. I checked compression both cylinders at 150psi, I cleaned the carburetor, I checked the clutches, I turned the governor up, and even tried a shorter belt off a 1992 ezgo which seems to help everything from what I’ve read online and/or checked from same model carts around my camp ground seem to check out. I know they sell clutch kits and stuff like that but other stock carts in my campground don’t have issues going up hills like mine does I’m stumped???? Thank you

Set valve lash to .004 and toss in some new spark plugs they can foul and still run but run poorly

Can check to make sure your brakes aren’t dragging.
Otherwise I would invest in a 28* driven clutch.
Will have more climbing power than you know what to do with.

I’ve put 2 on carts, I think it’s the biggest improvement for power.

I had an Ezgo TXT with the 9hp Robbins doing the same thing when I worked at a golf course many years ago. Ran fine on flat ground. I did everything you did and same thing, no change.

When you tried to climb up a steep hill is when the problem would show up. Installed a new Driven clutch and problem solved.

Ask the seller if it has the 28 degree helix, if so then that is the clutch you want.
