solenoid on with key on or off
MY ezgo carts has no power and drains battery very fast noticed the solenoid stays on with key on or off

solenoid on with key on or off
Either a faulty solenoid, or a problem with the pedal box microswitch and key switch (unlikely for them both to be bad, but possible). What ezgo do you have? TXT? Older marathon? What drive system?
Does the solenoid release when you switch the cart to neutral? Club Car DS driver’s club #59 |

Just got cart not sure of model. I am new to electric carts solenoid stays on all the time key on key off neutral, forward or reverse

It might be welded shut and needing to be replaced. Try to upload a picture of the cart if you can.
